Training on Food Security

The 3 days training on the topic of food security has taken start with the initiative of Oxfam Georgia today, 4 th of July 2016 at “Lopota Spa Resort”. The training is attended by the Georgian journalists, leaders of political parties, farmers and civil society representatives. During the training the participants will be provided with the relevant data obtained through the Oxfam Georgia researches in the filed as well as outlining of the new approaches with regard to solution of problems and elaborating new strategies with regard to food security policy.

The training is being held in the framework of the EU funded project: ““Improving Regional Food Security through National Strategies and Smallholder Production in the South Caucasus”. The training participants also will have a chance to participate in the competition for journalists announced by Oxfam Georgia.
