Award Ceremony -Healthy Lunch Competition for Teens

May 23, 2016, 12:00 am– at Ilia State university, auditorium A101, located on Chavchavadze ave 32. Will take place the award ceremony of the 3 minutes videos competition on the healthy lunchbox ideas. Three winners will be awarded. Just right before the award ceremony, Oxfam will present the main findings of the recently conducted National Nutrition Research aiming to study the current nutritional state of Georgian population and analyze the population`s accessibility on the diversified food and consumption patterns as well as to increase the awareness on the healthy nutrition.

Recently Oxfam representation to Georgia launched the Healthy lunch competition for teens. The young participants were invited to film the healthy lunchbox preparation process and send to the juror for the evaluation. 75 entries were received and evaluated by the designated Juror from the Ministry of Agriculture, National Disease Center, UNICEF and facebook users. The competition aims to increase the awareness on the healthy nutrition among the school age  children and to sensitize the issue on the level of decision makers in the government.
